Prioritising Rest for Better Learning.

Last week, our staff participated in a “No Meetings” week, giving them time to focus on essential tasks, get home early, and enjoy more rest. Rest is vital for both work and learning, as quality and consistency in sleep significantly impact performance—especially for young people.

MEET THE LEAD CAST!

Newsies is inspired by the 1899 Newsboys' Strike and follows Jack Kelly, a charismatic orphaned newsboy and leader of a group of teens who strike against unfair conditions after publishers raise newspaper prices. Fiercely protective and loyal, Jack dreams of a better life out West but fights for justice for his fellow newsboys. Katherine Plummer, an ambitious young reporter, covers the strike, capturing the voice of a new generation. Though skeptical of streetwise boys, she forms a connection with Jack as she seeks to make a name for herself.

Jonathan Cavanagh as Jack Kelly and Jody Villanueva as Katherine Plummer
